Recruiting for the Central African Republic BTAK deployment

Do you have a desire to travel? Do you like adventure? Do you want to make a difference in the lives of others? Do you have IT skills? Has God been tugging at your heart to serve?

If you answered yes to these questions and you have the resources, approximately $2000 and 10 days, will you consider joining me on a BTAK (Bible Translation Acceleration Kit) deployment?

Come to the heart of Africa and impact in the lives of the 4 million plus people who live in this remote country. They desperately need the word of God in a language that speaks to their heart.

At the end of September I will be departing for the Central African Republic to deploy technology in four locations throughout the CAR. This technology is vital to advance the translation process for these language groups. I’m seeking three people to join me for the adventure of a lifetime. As a team member your responsibility will be to setup solar panels, computers and satellite terminal connections. Then we will train the people that we’ve come to serve so they can use these incredible resources for God’s glory. The trip will take 10 days to 2 weeks depending on our internal mode of travel. Most likely we will travel by small plane due to the rough road conditions but you never know what awaits. Past deployments to this area involved taking dugout canoes though I don’t think we will have a need to do that this time.

My friend Deborah took a ride down the river in one of these on her deployment to CAR earlier this year. It was an incredible experience for her.

You should be in good health and have a positive attitude to consider this trip. I hope you will pray about this need and contact me as soon as possible. If you don’t have the ability to travel but would like to support this ministry through finance then please consider clicking the Donate button on this page. In the mean time enjoy the photos.

Don’t expect it to be this dusty during deployment in September.
